We were sitting around the kitchen one night after mixing a batch of treats. While they baked in the oven the question was asked, "when did you fall in love with your dog?" The answer was, "Day One." Silence fell on the room, glances were exchanged, and we knew the treat had just been named. We care for our puppies from day one and make treats to support that relationship.

Are your ingredients from the United States?
All but two ingredients are grown or produced in the United States. The two ingredients that are not from the U.S. are cinnamon and turmeric. We searched and searched for American grown cinnamon and turmeric without success. These two come from Asia where they thrive in the tropical climate. We made exceptions going outside the United States for cinnamon and turmeric because of their positive healthy benefits. All that stated, both our cinnamon and turmeric are human-grade.
Do you do animal testing?
No, we do not do animal testing or animal experimentation. Every single ingredient is artisan-grade and healthy for puppies and dogs. We send our treats to an independent laboratory for analysis where they test for minimum levels of protein and fat, and maximum levels of fiber and moisture. The lab also analyzes carbohydrates and calorie content. Now, we do have an eager pack of treat taste testers. These wagging participants (small, medium, and large breeds from puppy to senior) let us know what they think about our treats.
