At Day One Treats, Corporate Social Responsibility is about taking care of those who take care of us. This is at our core, part of our DNA, and is the way we run our business. We believe in giving back, both in our local communities that supports us, and also to the larger dog community.
Our Giving Program provides Day One Treats for Dogs to non-profit service dog organization throughout the United States. These organizations raise, train, and provide highly skilled dogs to people with disabilities so that they may live more independently and experience an improved quality of life. We are working to expand this program to organizations focused on providing service dogs to veterans.
Customers deserve to know what they give their dog is safe. Always mindful of our environmental footprint, we work with farmers and suppliers to ensure our ingredients are safe, healthy, sustainable, and artisan-grade. Our planet is our home and we do our part to care for it for future generations of people and puppies.
As a company, and as individuals, we are active in our local communities and mindful that we share a responsibility to a larger community. Still in its infancy, we started The Day One Movement as an online social community to celebrate the human-dog bond. Ultimately, we view the Movement as a medium to share information and ideas, further enhance the relationship between human and dog, and to be responsive to our stakeholders.
